Doltone House is one of the premier providers of wedding venues throughout Sydney. With three locations scattered within walking distance of Sydney’s CBD, and another only a 20-minute drive awat, Doltone House provides an array of settings designed to make that unique day special.
Whether it be the heritage-inspired trappings of the Jones Bay Wharf, the tranquil setting of Sylvania Waters, or the spectacular harbour views provided by Darling Island Wharf, these sites are primed for your wedding shoot.
Each place offers something different:
Jones Bay Wharf:
With spectacular views towards Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge, Jones Bay Wharf has a photographic backdrop that is the envy of the world. However, the rustic interior also offers inspiration for some exclusive wedding shots.
Darling Island Wharf:
As with Jones Bay Wharf, the key to Darling Island Wharf is its harbour views. This setting also includes the Gastronomia Restaurant and Biaggio Café, which allows the wedding photographer to mix things up.
Sylvania Waters:
Part of Sydney’s wedding scene for the past 45 years, Sylvania offers a traditional wedding venue with an outdoor waterfall and garden that both provide fantastic backdrops.
Hyde Park:
Just recently refurbished under the tutelage of architect Koichi Takada, the Hyde Park location has a ballroom with arched windows that present views over one of Sydney’s premium public parks. Not only can you take advantage of the views, but the fantastic architecturally enhanced interior is ideal for some great portrait shots.
Any of these Doltone House settings provides JL Images with enough scope to create lasting images of your wedding day. JL Images has an intimate knowledge of all these settings, and therefore knows about the things that matter – the lighting (both natural and artificial), the best spots for portraits of the couple and group shots, as well as what backdrops work and those that don’t.
